THE CHINESE IN AUSTRALIA.
Queensland Rigorously Excluding Them. [By Telegraph.—tPress Association.] Brisbane, June 21. A large number of Chinese have been turned hack from the frontier. Sensational telegrams received from tbe border say ttmt the Chinese urge the police to shoot them rather than turn them back. They say they lrnve passed through 800 miles of country now practically deserted owing to drought, and if turned back must perish from hunger or thirst.
