Arthur McDonald's Bankruptcy.

(Per United Press Association.) Dunedin, Juno 21. There was another long meeting of the creditors of Arthur McDonald, wool and grain broker, to day, when evidence on behalf of McDonald was ..taken. This related to the wool, It was shown that the instructions of McDonald as to packing were in accordance with the system at Bradford, and nearly everywhere else; Each class of wool was divided into two lots; the more " viewly" was used for topping with, and that which is best looking wool of tbe class was placed at the ends, The difference of Mkthe price of tbo two lots should not tanged more than from Is ii to Is 2d per lb. Davis, who had charge of the packing in Dunedin, and under whose personal supervision the wool complained of had been packed, stated definitely that the wool could not have beenipaoked in the way dosoribed in the complaint of tho experts at Borne under the instructions he had received from Mr MoDonald, The only explanation he could give was that as mauy casual hands were employed some of them, while his back was turned, emptied bags ot inferior into the middle of the bale. Mr McDonald himself gave evidence at length, and the meeting was adjourned, and when resumed the packing of tho rabbit skins will be dealt with.
