EKETAHUNA ROAD BOARD.

The monthly meeting of the Eketahuna Road Board was held on Saturday, there being present Messrs T. Parsons (ohairman), A. Anderson, W. B. Mathaßon, H, E- Mowbray, F. Dowsett, and M, Neilson; The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. Inward Oorrespondence-From fJ. A, Lambert, calliog attention to the dangerous state of tho bridge oyer the Mangaone Stream.—Jteolved that Mr Lambert bo informed that .the Alfredton Board propose raising a loan to build a new bridge. -

From Commissioner of Crown Lands, stating that ,a new Receiver of Lands Revenue had been appointed, and vouchers would be p|egared shortly for the payment of accrued thirds to Local Bodies ' From Minister of Public Works, informing the Board that a subway under the railway line at Newman would be more objectionable than the present arrangements, ■ ■ From J. Olulow, aaking to have bush felled on Reserve on' section 10, Block 111, Mangaone.—Granted.'
