"SCENE" IN A CHURCH.

A remarkable scene' was witnessed in a Trinity Ohurcb, 'Reformed ■% Oburoh of England,'. Southland, oneSunday in April. The Rev, A. Waller was some time ago appointed curate to' Bißhop' Greg, the inoumbent, but the latter became inßano, and his place wes temporarily filled by Mr. Waller. Notwithstanding this, Mr Waller appeared in the church on Sunday morning, and when the new incumbent began reading the Morning Service the curate did the same in a loud voice. Mr Waller remained in custody until . after the Evening Service, wnen ho was liberated on bail. ■
