HOSPITAL TRUSTEES.

The Monthly Meeting. The monthly meeting of the Masterton Hospitnl Trustees was held in the Borough ' Couuoil ■ Chambers laat (Tuesday) afternoon, there being pres* ent Messrs J. C Boddington (Obair- ] man), J. B, Keith and, G, S. W. i Dalrymple. i MINUTES. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed, i FINANCE. The Treasurer reported' a oredit balance of £167 15s lOd. HOSPITAL IMPROVEMENTS. The Chairman reported.on behalf of the subcommittee appointed, to deal with the matter, that arrangements had been made for the erection of a corridor at the Hospital in accordance with the specifications ot MrNatusoh, architeot, The question of "draughts" was also being attended to. The report of the sub-committee was confirmed, DIARX, The diary for the month was read by the Secretary. ACCOUNTS. The following accounts were passed for payment ;—W. Perry, £? Ms ' G|d;R.F. The Custodian reported that six males bad been admitted during the i month and eight discharged. There ' now remained three patients in the institution. '■ ADMT OF'ACCOUNTS. The Chairman called attention to 1 the extraordinary delay which had occurred in the auditing of the ao- [ counts. It they were not soon audited f it would be necessary to publish an t unaudited balance-sheet, f It ! was decided to await a. reply 3 from the Audit Department to a com--2 munication sent by the Secretary 9 betore taking action.
