(Beforo Colonel Jtoberts, R.M.) Police v. Eitohie.-Defendant was charged with allowing cattle to stray, Costs 7s,
Police v. Nielson.-Cattle straying. No appearance of defendant, Case Jjoumed, Police v. W. Buckeridge.- Allowing horses to stray on Woodward street, David Whaley, groom, gave evidence that on Sunday night, 29th May, he was driving seven horses to a paddook when one broke away. Leaving the other horses he went to bring the runaway back.' When he got back defendant was minding the horses, which the constable said were stray-, ing. Witness' statement was accepted, and the oase was dismissed.
Police* v Steffeft.—Allowing one horse to stray on Daniel Street. Defendant, who did not appear, had admitted to the Constable that his horse had broken out. Costs 7s, fine Is, A, Bunyard v.MY. Corlett, case adjourned till 11th July. The Court then adjourned.
