LICENSING COMMITTEE MEETINGS.

The annual mating of the Sydenham Licensing Committee was held to-day. Applications for new licenses for Hotels' closed last year were put in, but refused. Evidence w then taken for and against the renew al of licenses then granted, . This was poi'jinißke'd this afternoon, and the fWmittee adjourned pn'til to-morrow. The licensees'fear that the-renewals wiil be refused, " •""•' PpoEpip, Juneo. The OftVersham Ljcepßlng Commite gave effect to their decision of last year and refused a license for the Commercial Hotel, but granted a fortnight's adjournment. The application for a bottle license was alB?
