In beef I bad f> full entry in 4 olaases,comprising larijo bullocks, light weights, cows and heifers, rates for whioh, according to weights, were a trifle higher ihan previous tales. Every beuat yaided changed hands. rln beef, bullocks made £6 2s 6d for large, and l 5 10a for small j cows L46s; heilersU In stores young steers ranged from 65s to 775; yearlings and 18 months (mixed), 60s j COWB and calves, 795; young dairy heifera, 60s to 765. In sheep three pens out of four changed bauds, the rates for which still rule very low, .owing mainly to the scaroitj of grass 'and backwardness o! new pastures, GoodconditionedLincolo ewes in lamb passed at 10s od, medium crossbred ewes in lamb, 8a to 9s. Culled ewes in lamb 6s to 6a.
