Lowes and lows' Stock Sale Report Masterton, 2nd June. At our sale yesterday there was the usual large attendance, but we regret being unable to report the usual competitive life on the part of buyers, A much larger quantity of stock camo forward than was advertised, and,' with very few exceptions, the sheep were of fair to good quality. We regret to state tbat breeding ewes of all olasses have most decidedly receded in prioe, and inferior classes of wethers are sharing the same fate, but not to the same extent,- First-lass sheep are in our opinion still brinsing good values, but disappointment is experienced in the foot that there is not the continuous rise which characterised the sales this time lastymr; the reason asoribed being the failure in the turnip orops.
