Dear Sir,—Borne ■two years ago, hav« ing previously enjoyed good health,l'was seriously taken ill, and found it very difficult to get relief. At first I treated myself thinking that I should soon be well atrain; but my illness grew upon me and 1 was completely prostrated, and unable to do snytbiug, 1 sought medic* advice from cur local doctor, and lie proscribed for me. My ailment was described as black jaundice and gall stones, and at times I suffered much pain. Our doctor's treatment did not do mo much good, as the attacks were frequent and very severe. Some months paflaed, and I felc that I was becoming hopttaly ill, My triends were shucked ai my sallow and changed appearance, and more th.m one has told me since that, they novel expected toseo me wollawiu. I went to Auckland for clungoof air and scene, and to seek further medio*! advice, i got it, and for a time seemed to improve, the change evidently doing me good; but it was not lo.Nlo enough, for after a week or ao I was again kid up, AH the medioal aid 1 got in Auckland seemed unavailing, and I returned home with very little to hope for, Hero I suffered sovero attacks, and had to by up repeatedly. My husband had a vory poor opinion of patent medicines, but seeing Clement's Tonio advertised as of such woudorful effect in serious oases, and beiug quite at a loss to suggest any other untried remedy, he brought home a bottle and we determined to try it. At tbo same time we resolved to say nothing of the medicine wo wore using until fully satisfied of its effects. The first dnso did me good and 1 improved rapidly. Friends who would not have been surprised to hear of my death wero really astonished at my recovery. I was soon satisfied as to (ho valuo of Clennnts lonic, and gladly reoonunended it to others, and so did my husband, The storekeeper spoko to him one day and asked hun if he had been recommendiug Clements Tonio, for he had almost sold out, ard had only one bottle lefi, " Givo it to mo," said my husband, "I wouldn't be without it for anything." By the tnno'l had taken one bottle I was able to get about my work attain. Friends tuought the improvement wily teiDjior • ary, and expected to lee uie prostrated again, but I am thanKlul to say thatsuch lias not been the case. Every dose did its work, and after a fortnight I only took one doße a day, in the early morning. 1' havo used only three buttles, and have the fourth in the house. Ido not take it regularly, but fly to it on the least symptom of anything being wrong, and' I havo many times proved it to be a good preventive of returning sickness. It is now eight or nine months since 1 recovered, and Clement's 'Tonio bas kept me in good health all through. I can again get an with my house and dairy work with comfort and pleasmo. I am pleased to be able to recommend Clement's Tonic, for I have found it a true friend, and am convinced that it will rive health to many suffering, if they will only give it a UiORGUf, B '' Wn S™"'" l '' 11
