The swelling was so bad that I was afraid to oven drink a glass of water. I consulted a. doctor, and he examined my water, and he said it was a had case of liver disease, and alio Brhjht's disease of the kidneys; he prescribed medicine and liniments with mustard baths' 1 said," Doctor, if you.will cure me'l will pay you \vh»t you like," He replied: " i can hold out no hopb kor you." I said, " that is very hard'' "I never like to take a man's money" said he, "without telling- him the truth, and /will come to you at any hour of the night you may send for me." Ho thought I should soon die. 1 gave his treatment a fair trial, but the swelling of my body increased so muoh that I had to remain in bed. Tho pains increased and extended nil down the side, and my eyesight was now almost completely gone. I consulted another eminent medical man, who, after sounding me and testing my urine, said I had Bright's disease. I asked it he could cure mo: He said ho would do his best, and if 1 would continue his. medicine! should improve I did 'so, and it had but little more effect than water. Two friends of mine called my attention to Mrs Mceller'slettor in tho paper who had cured me of tho same disease by Clements Tonio, I procured a supply and taking it strictly in accordance wit'n the directions, the swelling began to go down. I kept up the use of Clements Tonio, and now thank God, I am cured; my|swellines have all subsided; my eye'' Bight is as eood as ever. I took a good many bottles, but that is nothing as it has cured me, and I cannot describe : its value. 1 . Mr Irvine's case needs no comment.
