PIGEON FLYING MATCH.
The Wellington Club. Mr Burton Boys, of Mastorton, liberated eight" Homer" pigeons for the Wellington Pigeon Flying Club at the local railway station at 1.30 p.m. on Saturday last. The weather was fine, aud a grand start was made. The result was as follows: Mr'A. Smith's Bob Roy (1126 yds per minute) 1 Mr H.Kenny's Empire (1116 yds per minute) 2 Mr S. Mouatt's Marvel (1107 yds per minute) 8
