I Auckund, Mny 17, (veMnown recipient of obavitable aid, Sir Charles Burden, Bart, who for the past two years has been an inmate of the Costley Home for the Aged Poor, died at the Institution last night. Deceased was the seventh baronet of Benthwaite, He was formerly a lieutenant in the 54th Foot, and afterwards in (lie second Staffordebiro Militia. About SO years ago ho came to New Zealand, and fought in the Waikato War.
