Z, under date 23rd January, 1892| writes:— Dear Sir, —Some two years ago, having previously enjoyed good health,l was seriously taken ill, and found it very difficult to get relief. At first I treated myself thinking that I should.soon be Well aeaio; but my illness grew upon me and 1 was completely prostrated, and unable to do anything, I sought ineUioa advice from cur local doctor, and ho prescribed for me, My ailment was described as biauk jaundice and gall stones, and at times 1 suffered much pain, Our uootor's treatment did not du me much good, as the attacks were frequent and very severe. Some months passed, tad I felt tliat I was becoming.hopekssly ill, My lriends were shocked ai my sallow and changed appearance, and more than ono has told me since that they never expected to see me wella»ain, I went to Auckland for chinge of air and scene, and to seek further medioul advice. 1 got it, and for a time seemed to improve, the change evidently doing me good j but it was not ionio enough, for after a week or so I was again kid up, All tho medical aid 1 got In Auckland seemed unavailing, and I returned home with very little to-hope for,! Hero I suffered sovero attacks, and had to lay up repeatedly. My hiuband had a very po ir opinion of patent medicines, but seeing Clement's Tonic advertised as of such wonderful effect in serious cases, and being quite at a loss to suggest any other untried remedy, be brought home a bottle and we determined to try it. At the same timo we resolved to say nothing of the medicine we were using until fully satisfied of its effects. The first dnae did me good and 1 improved rapidly. Friends' who would not have been surprised to hear of my death were really astonished at my rtcovory. I was soon satisfied as to tho valuo of Clemmts l'onie, and gladly recommended it to others, and so did my husband, The storekeeper spoke to him one day aud asked him if he had been recommending Clements Tonic, for he had almost sold out, and had only one bottle lefi. " Give it to me/'saidmyhnsband, "1 wouldn't be without it for anything." By tho time I had taken one bottle I was able to get about my work again. Friends thought the improvement only temporary, and expected to see me prostrated again, but I am thankful to say tbatsuch hasnot been tho case. Every dose did its work, and after a fortnight I only took one dose a diy, in the early morning. 1 havo used only three b.ittles, and have tho fourth in the house. Ido not take it regularly, ( but fly to it on the least symptom of anything' being wrong, and I have many times proved it to be a good preventive of returning sickness, it is now eight or nine months since I recovered, and Clement's Touio has kept me in good health all through. I can again get on with my house and daily work with comfort and pleasure. I am pleased to be ablo to recommend Clemont's Tonic, for I have found it a true friend, and am convinced that it will five health to many Buffering, if they will only give it a trial.—l am, Sir, yours gratefully,' M L.
