Paddock — v Shortly after G o'clock yesterday morning Constable Murdock received information that a man, who appeared to have been badly knocked about, was lying in a paddock opposito Lane's stables in Sydney street, On proceeding thither he found the man ' < in the state described, and further observed that he appeared to have been drinking heavily.
