A PECULIAR DEATH.
fatal Mistake of a Mother, [By Telogrnph.—Press Association,] Dusdin, Tuesday. A young man named Edward Filewood died in the hospital this morning, it is believed from atrangu-i lation of the bowels. He was suffering from internal pains on Sunday, when Dr, Gross was called in and ordered a teaspoonful ot a certain prescription, but the deceased's mother gave him a tablespoonful, The doctor, on revisiting * the house, found Filewood suffering from the effects of the overdose, He ordered his removal to the Hospital for treatment, with the yiew of an operation at a laterstage, but the man died before this could oe attempted.
