Sir,—l believe that several of the members of the Borough Licensing Committee have taken shares in the Wairarapa Farmers' Co-operative Association, wbick holds a license for the sale of spirits] therefore, according to my reading of the Act, (Part I, section 11 and 12 of the Licensing Act) any such member acting or sitting on the Committee will be liable to a penalty of £SO for every Buch offence. lam etc,
