TRAGEDY AT HELENA BAY.
a Fatal Quarrel, [By Telegraph.—Press Association,] Auckland, Thursday. Particulars are to hand of a tragedy at Heleua Bay, thirty miles from Kanes. The victim is Arthur lattiin, and the perpetrator ot the deed fiobert Butler. Both men are foreignj&and settlers at Jlelepa Bay. T(ie spatter was reported to tho police at 8.80 this morning, and Butler was arrested soon afterwards, He admitted his guilt to ponstabje Moore, stating lie'had .quarrelled .' with; Ifyttan yesterday morning about tnpnoy matters, whpiT Katttaii drew a knife and'stabhedbipi' self ipthree places on the chest, which tiie wan bears marks of, Butler thpn drew a revolver and shot Kattan dead.
