The annual lea and public meeting in connection with the Wesleyan Chnrch was held last evening, Nearly two hundred persons sat down to a capital repast provided by the-lady members of the congregation, which was done tho fullestjuatice to,. The following ladies presided at tbO| tables:—Mesdenies Dukes, Hoar, Pybus, Elliotte, Daniell, Heyhos and Steele, and the Misses Perry, Dukes, i Gillespie, Ford, Donald, Billington Prangnell. ? At tho public meeting held afterwards in tho Church Mr Galloway read (be annual report, which showed v the Church to be in a thoroughly healthy condition in eery respect, Mr Donald, junr,, read the Treas- . urer's report which was adopted. Interesting addresses were afterwards delivered by theßevs JR. Wool f .j and J. Dukes and Mr J. Bauuiber. On the motion of MrO, E. Daniell hearty votes ot thanks were accorded the ladies for providing ten, tbe choir and Mr Boogey, JJliss Williams, tbe capable and efficient organist, and to Mr Dukes the Circuit Minister, to whose efforts the healthy condition • of the Church was in a great measure due. During the evening some choice selections were rendered by the choir.
