A match between the Masterton Orientals, nnd the Carterton Royal Stars was played on the Park Oval yesterday,' und was witnessed by a 'C large number of people. A uioflt interfiling gume resulted in a win for the Orientals by two goals and a try . to one goal Mid a try. The second fifteen of tho Greytown Football (Jlub will play the second of Masterton at the Eeoienlion Reserve, Greytown, on baturday, the 14th of next month. A team of the Greytown Football Club play the Athletics, of Wellington, at Greytown on Tutoday, the 2ith of Mny (Queen's Birthday). The Pirate football Club, of Wellington, send their lifot fifteen to play the second of the Red Stars at Masterton on Monday next. The visitors have the reputation of being one of the smartest junior learns in thn city, so that a very interesting game may bo anticipated. Tho team chosen to represent tho Stars will play n scratch fifteen from other members of the Clab on the Park Oval this after- „ noon.
