An inquiry into the oiroumatancea ! aiteiiding the death of Alfred E, Jones, of the Upper Plain, was com* menced in the Maaterton B.M.'Court this (Tuesday) morning before Coroner Roberts and a jury of six, of whom Mr W. Scott was chosen foreman. The jury jiavjng viewed tip body, Sergeant M'Arcjle applied for an adjournment to permit of a pout mqrtcm examination being taade and to seoure the attendance of an lm* portant witness from Wellington, {*■- The enquiry was then adjourned till two q'olocij to«morro.vy.
