. The Masterton and lied Star Football Clubs held &■ oombined' practice on the Park Oval on Saturday. The display of the game itself was not brilliant,, although' some good hard work was done, The touring team of the Mastsrton Football Ciub has appointed Mr {J, A, Popsll tpprer. The team leaves Masterton on Thursday next, meeting the Merivaie team at Uhristchuroh on the morning of Easter Monday, Thematoh which' was to;'have been pkyed between the Excelsiors of Masterton and the Tenui Club at 'Ka'ster lip been abandoned, the latter being unable to get together a team. !'Our Boys" (juveniles) beat - ihe Kuripuni" White Lilies " by two points to love on Saturday afternoon. Ernest Jenkins did the'scoring,; Most of the boys play a good game.
