\ Mwicovillo Road Board. „' The ordinary meoting of the Mau,f riceville Road Board was held on r Saturday, the 26th March. Present d -Messrs 6. Gunderson (chairman), I W.iessen, H. W. Jackson, and J. ' Bannister, 5 _ The minutes of the previous meetd ing were read and confirmed, and i correspondence outwards, s A number of settlers waited on the a Board with reference to the metalling 9 of a small part of Mauriceville West J Road, It was resolved to metal four i chains and repair the old metalling, „ Mr Youngson again applied to the « Board to get the road leading to i section 106 and 108, Blook 11, Kop • uaranga, formed, stating that he had 0 now waited six years for this piece of " road to be formed. It was decided to leave Mr Youngson's application to bo dealt with by tjie new Board. Prom the Colonial Treasurer advising payment of 4500 on loans • account, From Chief Surveyor, re deviation of road on Longhurst's section. From five ratepayers on theMukakahi Road North, re the raising of an additional loan of £SO. From the Clerk requesting the Board to pay 10 per cent of all loans to general account and pay ail expenses from same.—The consideration ot the matter was held over till next meeting, From A. E. Cafirey, requesting something to be done to the road by his horn—Left in the hands of the Engiueer, Prom the Mauricoville Road Board agreeing to thirds of Mount Bruce settlers being expended on bridge over Makakahi River providing their consent be obtained, From the Commissioner, of Crown Lands, with certificate of guarantee to pay interest of loans with thirds, Central Mangaone Road.
