WAIRARAPA FARMERS' COOPERATIVE ASSOCIATION.

A meeting of the directors of the Association was held in the Association's office, on Friday, 25th inst., Mr Caselberg in the chair, and present Messrs A. W. Cave, L. The Secretary read the minutes of the previous meeting and reported that applications were coming in fast from a very desirable olasa of applicant, chiefly constituents of the old Hrm. Ho reported during the past fortnight 564 JEew shares had been applied for and allotted, making the total capital of the. Company £48,506, The trade of the Association in all its branches was very brisk and showed a marked increase over the trade of last year for tho corresponding month. It was resolved to hold the share list open, as several distant Bottlers had signified their intention of taking up shares, until the end of May, when it will be closed. Wellington for the sale of farmers' produce, The directors considered that not only should new branches be opened shortly, but that the increase of business at Masterton and Greytown necessitated an immediate extension of premises. The chairman was instructed accordingly to obtain necessary estimates of cost of iterations for submission at next meeting. This concluded the business.
