- Display tf Autumn mi "Winter Goods, According to announcement tho establishment of the Wholesale Drajiery Company, in Queen Street, Maßterton, was illuminated last night for the display of Autumn and Winter Goods which have just arrived,' The interior of the warehouse was so arranged that the whole of the goods could be seen to the greatest advantage, whilst the windows, brilliantly lit with gas, were olaboratelydecoratcdwith those novelties so oommon to the season of the year, Here were all the latest dosigns in millinery, from the infant's to tho most fashionable Parisian hats and bonnets, comprising plain and fancy straw, felt, beaver, plush and ribbon trimmed, and there the most handsome and costly specimens of fabrics and dress materials, Dorothy cloaks, jackets, ulsters, waterproofs, showerproof; and quilted cloaks, etc., etc. The Manchester department, stocked with Roslyn, Mosgiel, and Kaiapoi wools, blankets, flannels, etc., was equally attractive, whilst in clothing there was every article necessary to withstand the cold of winter and protect the wearer against the severest of weathers; A large assort, [pent of gpposiim nigs, oarpetß, travelling bags and trunks, eiderdown quilts, linoleums, etc., etc,; mads the sliow one of the most comprehensive and successful ever seen in the district,
