tlx Thomas Poland(By Telegraph,—Press Association,) Chuistchuroh, Monday. The death is announced of Thomas Aolantl, of tbe firm of Acland and Dudley, sharebrokers, aged 46, The deceased had always tnken a prominent part in sporting natters, and also in music. $ Mr John Tyrol!. Westport, Monday, John Tyroll, proprietor of the Westport Times and Wostport Star, died this morning of partial paralysis. Be had been ill many years, He was one of tno earliest newspaper proprietors on the West Coast, establishing the Chronicle in Hoki< tika shortly after the rush started, and the Times here in 1866,
