The following telegram was 're* ceived to-day by Mr U. J. Maloolm, Secretary of the Masterton Football Olub, from the Secretary of the Merivale (OhristbhurchV Olub:" Wo play Poriekes on Easter Saturday! Be glad to play you Easter Monday, and Bhould haye good gate if played in the morning or afternoon."
A soratch match was played on the Park Oval on Saturday between teams picked from ihe Masterton and lied Star Clubs. The praetioe was a very good one.
