Resqued From Misery.
John E.-Aubreyi N.S.W., kindly furnishes the following testimony: -" In January, 1879, 1 was master of a provisional school in the western district, and Imarned a delicate young lady, and was shortly afterwards appointed teacher under the Board of Education. Our first child wbb born in September 1880, after •' which my wife never, seemed to regain her iiiual strength. In May, 1881, she ' was suddenly taken very ill; the family doctor was sent for and was greatly puzzled; he, however, prescribed, and the patient partly recovered, Abuut m twelve months later she was very much \f troubled with a painlul throbbing movement iu the abdomen, especially when lying' down, loss of appetite, and what food was taken afforded no nourishment. Another, doctor was called hi, who sburided and prescribed, but to no pur« poso.;' We left the'neighb'ourhprfd/and tyeuf to'lifbK'ow hoping to effect an'improvement, but without result, Another doctor did all he could and decided that the caso was one of enlarge* ment of the liver, and this proved to be largess to prevent dressing; so matters progressed' and got 'from bad to Vorse'. Numerous doctors continued to 3o but little pood and that only temporary, but all agreed that the system, was generally weak and wanted building up; and the liver would sometimes swell and burst off button after button off her ulster while standing in a store. For j;ho last two years the trouble has been complicated' with a moat distressing no}Be'iji the jieadj go violent |)B to render it impossible to he in bed at night, w'itji violent attacks of ivindy colic, causing complete prostration, and excoriation of the throat. Eventually, alter further suffering, I read of Clement's Tonic and |A its wonderful effects, and sent for a bottle. The first dose was too strong for the debilitated stomach. I diluted it with water and gradually increased it j; the stomach could bear it. Mrs Aubrey has SO* taken three bottles and the effect is most marvellous; the swellinK has entirely disappeared, and the want is recced, by seven inones. ihe'^eiiifftt'iii 1 renewed and' strengthened, the appetite returned 1 , the' noise in the head diminished, and, to use my wife's'"own words, "-language-utterly fails to describe the relief and benefit she has experienced by.t'ho use of only three bottjes of' Clement's Tonic," I copsider Clement's Tpriio the most palatable and elective medicine I have eve: used in "either England, India, Africa or Australia, "' '[JQHUAPUBI,
