' v v ' The description of the men answo. 2' I latter nor Harrison possessed a \ watch. \ Bistere added to his previous ovi« V dence that throe hours before the murder was supposed to have taken place Smith showed him 2s Id saying that was all the money ho had; yet after the murder 18s 6d was fouud in lis possession, Power, a previous witness, who had been inclined to '* insist that the ho men seen on the road were Smith and Harrison, not Dalton, now contradicted himself. All the fresh evidence tells against Smith, but does not affect Harrison much,
