The Olago mutch, which is flfth counting for the Belt, is proceeding, and it ' will be late in tho afternoon before it is concluded. At 300 yards fair shooting was nude, Beid, of Queenstown, being top with 32, while Neil w (Peninsula) put on 31, and bunting (Palmcrston), Wilson, (Wellington) tand Boss (Napier), 30 each. Pumell pulled four points on Ballinger, who 1 was leading for the Belt, and the pair are on level terms with 2CO. Doughty improved his position a point, and is oven with Jones, of Waikari, each being 258. Spiers (Oimaru) is next with 255, and Hoss (Napier) follows with 254. Several of the others aro close together. 2.15p.tu. The firing at the 500 yds was finished'atlunch,the shooting being Tery good, notwithstanding the wind was a little treacherous, C. Cameron (Tenui) arid Eandall (Palmorston) ■* each put on 34 out of 35, while Kruno (Wanganui), (iunderson (Christchurch), A. Cameron (Tenui), Fuller (Blenheim), Newtll (Taranaki), Howe (Wellington), and Dormer (Auckland) wound up with 33. With two ranges Neil (Peninsula), G3; Boss (Napier), fiti" iehed the highest scores are : - 62; Howe (Wellington) and Angles (Wanganui), 01; A.
