lows ani loins' stoos Salo Report. At pur Masterton yards yesterday we held our usunl slock sale, which as usual was well attended. There wasnn unusual incitementowing to tho unprecedentedly largo number of sheep, 14,500 of all classes. Many of the pens were occupied by really good slieep, both wethers and ewes, Qfc- Of the former Mr Chalmers topped the JJr market with 200 really grand wethers, which realised 18s, Mr Donald Donald occupying the premier position in ewes with a pen of 65 2-tooih Lincoins, which brought 2As each, -The aged owjbs of Mr Stuokey were much admired, and by general consent were considered the best in tho yards, and were sold at 13s Gd. Good sheep throughout the sale maintained previous rates, while old ewes were a little easier, Culled lambs also receded a little in price. Earns sold freely at 15&-l'or old to 60s for medium quality in both Romnoy and Lincoln, These prices aro of course no criterion of values, as the only rams coining forward now are those not considered good enough to yard at tho fairs. Of cattle the entry was small, but prices were fully maintained, Pigs were neglected, Horses were not admitted to this sale.
