HOSPITAL TRUSTEES.
■ The monthly mooting of the Hospital Trustees was hold yesterday afternoon at 8,30 in tho Council Chambers, Present—Mesara J. C. Boddington (Chairman), B. P. Perry, G. S. W. Dalrymple, W. H. Beetham, J, B, Koitli, and Rev Father MoKennc, The minutes of tho provious meeting were read and continued. The Treasurer roported a credit ballance of £195 7s 9d. A letter was received from Mr nnd Mrs Johns, late assistants in tin Hospital, asking for a referenco. It was decided to comply with the request. The present assistants, Mr and M rs Amundsen, wrote requestiug to ho relieved from their duties on accou nt of Mrs Amundsen not being strong enough tocarry out her work. Tho ir resignation was accopted, and it was decided to advertise in tho local papers nnd in ilie Evening Post, Wellington, for a married couple at £7O per annum and found. Accounts amounting to £3lss were >ji»ss"d lor payment. ) The Cnstodiau reported 7 patients in the Hospital in February,!) admitted since, 4 discharged, and 12 at prri3eut in the institution. Tho accounts against ox-pntientj in the Hospital were then dialt with, nnd in a number of cases the Secretary was instructed to proceed against defaulters. A sub committee consisting of Messrs J, C. Boddington, (j, 8, W. Dilryuiple, and J.B, Keith, Was appointed to consider the quesiion of pioviding extra accommodation at the Hospital and to repoit to a special meeting. Mr W. H. Beetham was appointed visiting member, and tho meeting closed.
