CRICKET.

A match between teams represent' ing the Greytown and Masterton Cricket Clubs was played oil the Park Oval on Saturday last,"reßulting in an easy win for tlio former, The visiters, captained by Sid. The fielding of the Greytown players was teally excellent, whilst their batting (particularly that of W. Judd) was good, The local team, oh the other hand, made a very poor display of the game, and clearly demonstrated the fact that without practice they are nowhere. The match wis played in a most friendly spirit, and at its conclusion hearty cheers were exchanged, Mr W. Thomas officiated as umpire for Greytown and Mr ft.
