In their secoud innings Greytown had scored eight-four for tlie loss of seven wiokcts when iho inniugs was declared closed. U'itli one - hundred and twenty-two 10 got tu win Masterton again faced the trniidlers, but only succeeded in putting together thirty-four of this number. The fielding of the Greytown players was teally excellent, whilst their batting (particularly that of W. Judd) was good, The local team, oh the other hand, made a very poor display of the game, and clearly demonstrated the fact that without practice they are nowhere. The match wis played in a most friendly spirit, and at its conclusion hearty cheers were exchanged, Mr W. Thomas officiated as umpire for Greytown and Mr ft.
