The present track, however, is not a very bad one. II rs Heddon and Mrs Eurnshaw accompanied tho party io the Falls and walked eight miles from tho landing at Arthur river to the camp, one milo from the Falls, in a little over tliroj hours, lload making by the prisoners is progressing • slowly. The health of all at Milford Sound gaol is very good and there were no complaints, The steamer Manapouriwas iu the Sounds on Saturday afternoon.
