Prices havo risen 7s in two days, apd orders by the public camjoJ 1)9 fulfilled, The restriction of t|ie coal output has caused 200,000 Lancashire factory operatives to bo thrown out of work, The poorer olasses in London are sufiering acutely from the bitter weather. | Tho price of coal has advanced another 4s owing to the teverish de» mand. Experts declare there is no cause .' for alarm, There has been a great rush on colliery reserves owing to the diflhulty in connection with tho coal trade, and it is estimated that during the last fortnight [§f),ooo acies have been selected by tljo men and 60,000 by ownerß.
