A HAPPY EVENT.

j An event in which a great deal ot i interest was centred, notwithstanding i that its celebration was carried out in [ a somewhat unostentatious manner, took place at Masterton on Wednesday | morning. We refer to the marriage of i Missßobieson, daughter of Mr James [ Robieson, of Cavelands, Masterton, to Mr P. C, Fr'eeth, editor of the . Nepean ?imes,' N.S.W., anil son of ! Mr J." J. Ffeeth, Olerk of the K.M.' i Court,' Wafrarapa. After this had been partaken of, the cake, a handsome three-decker wjth floral appendages, was distributed i to the guests by Miss May Robieson, ohief bridesmaid,, and tlje various ' toasts inoideptal to suclj occasions ' were honoured by thb jju&sts present, | in number abqvjf forty.
