In caao of a protest the samo must be lodged with the Secretary within 15 minutes after the race has been ran, with a deposit of £2, such deposit to he forfeited if the protest be found to be frivolous or vexatious. No Scratching of Horses allowed, unless through the Secretary, and thirty minutes before the time of starting. No Entry will be reoeived for any Race except under the conditions that all claims, disputes, and objections arising shall bo decided by the Stewards, or whom they may appoint, and their decision upon all points shall be final. All Kominationß, Entrances, Acceptances, etc, accompanied,by the necessary amount, must be addressed to the Secretary, Masterton. No Entry will bo received after the hour named oh any pretence whatever, Any Jockey riding, except in colours, will be fined 2 sovs, The amount for second horse will be deducted from the advertised amount of stakes. The winner of Selling Race to be told immediately after the race for 15 sovs., any surplus to bedivided between the Club and the second horse. Horses walking,over will receiveso per oent.'of the stakes. Hack means a horse that has never statted for or is not nominated at the. date of entry tor.any|race-Haok and Hunter Races excepted, .
