Economy in public expenditure. No class domination or class legislation. Federation, looal government, and water conservation and irrigation. Promotion of the political education of the people through the Press, the platform, and other agenoiea, with a view to showing that the permanent welfare of any seotion of tho community is indis : solubly bound up with that of all other seotions, and that ill considered and revolutionary legislation and all mandates issued by irresponsible bodies tending to check the tree and lawful use by every man of his natural or acquired abilities are wrongs to tho individual and crimes against the State." The platform is accompanied by the following statement:—" The objeot of the Association is to defeat an attempt which has been made to secure forone seotion of the community power to dominate the remainder, as such action, if allowed to go unchecked, would result id the loss of publio credit, the orippling of private enterprise, the withdrawal of capital from investment, the creation of class hatred, and possibly in the ond revolution and anarchy.'.' The Association holds that" people will be better served by the pissing of practical measures calculated to benefit all classes alike than by theoretical experiments in theinterests of one seotion only." • " '•
