' • Dumedin, Monday. Maloolm Boss, accompanied by his :, wife and brother, and Harry Birrell Mc' (guide), completed a successful ascent - \ to the Bummit of Mt. Earnshaw. At 9000 feet the lady had to desist. Splendid photographs were, obtained from the summit, the sea being visible as far as Martin's Bay., The party discovered on the summit a cairn made by Birrell in 1889, establishing the latter's olaim to firßfc scale the mountain, •
