Complimentary Benefit, A complimentary benefit was tendered to Mrs J. D, Foley in the Maa vterton Theatre Royal last night brtfo local amateurs. The entertainm»£ was opened with the laughable comedietta, " The Two Sixpences," in which Miss Rosa Beaufort and, Mr Foley took the leading parts. A song was afterwards- rendered by Mrs Mullor emitted "Oro Pro Nobis," which was undoubtedly the gem of the evouing, Then followed a Bong by Mr Balph, and a violin solo by Mr Gindera wliicL was loudly encored. Messrs Bees and Clifford also ■ contributed songs, and Miss Powell gave a very clever recitation. Mr Foley created a deal of merriment by bis ventnloquiai effor'S. In tho second part Mrs MuJler's Bong with violin obligate \m well roceivod, and Messrs (Jinders and Hooper, in grotesque costumes, fetched down the bouto with theip character song, Songs by Mies Harvey and Messrs Clifford, Foley and Balph brought the entertainment to a close, Mr Foley thanking • the audience on behalf of Mrs Foley for their patronage.
