Doaanl for Walrarapa Stock, [By Telegraph.—Press Association,] WangahUl, Thursday,' Toe first day's sale at the Ram Fair was a great success. There was a, large attendance of buyers frpm all parts of the Coast and' bidding waV brisk and rapid, Five hundred and flftyntwo i'arria. were sold singly, aver* aging £5 Is 5d each, Mr Jas, Holmes, of Oamaru, topped the market for Btuds with 86 guineas, and Mr Win. Wilson, of Elsea, for Books with 17 guineas for two, In the larger numbers Mr J, Jtayner, of the Wairarapa, niado the highest average, viz, L 8 4s lid for twelve. The flooke of J. W. Baker, Fordell , got an average of L 7 Os 8d for 25, and the flocks of W. Wilson, of Elsea, avoragedii6 18a 9d for 60.
