WifoMurdor and attempted Suicide, Sydney, February 7. In the course of their investigation tiie police discovered a man named Maokow, ivith his throat cut, in the vicinity of the quarter where the woman was atrociously murdered on Friduy night. He confessed that he lmd murdered the woman who was his wife, in a' fit ofjealousy. MacKow'a wound is not likely to prove fatal. . Twenty years ago Maokow's brother whs hanged in Sydney for a similar offence.
