Mr- F, H. Wood reports having held a very successful sale of horses, sheep, and cattle, at Mr \V. O. Williams' homestead. Bleak House, Kai>wai<wai, near: Feathereton, yesterday. There was a large attendance of settlers from all parts of the district and outside. Bidding was spirited, About 80 horses were sold at prices ranging from 4 guineas to 10 guineas. Voltigeur was passed in at 75 guineas, and the broodmare Mas* cotte at 80 guineas. Fat sheep, ewes and wetheis, mixed, sold at 12s and 12s 3d; two'year old heifers, fifaßdi store cows, 57a 6d to 60s; cows and calves, 62s 6d,
