MASTERTON A. AND P. ASSOCIATION.
A general meeting of members of tho Masterton Agricultural and Pastoral Association was held in the Olub Hotel yesterday, About tweqty members were present, and the chair was occupied by the President (Mr A, W, Cave)., Jho minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. On tb3 motion of Mr E. Meredith, a Committee consistinp of Messrs A. W. Cave, F. Gray, J, Hessey and the mover was appointed to report upon suitable sites for a show'ground for the Society that day monih. Mr E, Meredith moved," That the Secretary be instructed to draw ut a memorial for incorporation, and get the necessary signaturrs, to be also presented that day month." Mr T. W. Wardell seconded. —Carried.
Tho report of the Bam Fair Com., mittee was read, and its recommendation adopted.
Meiers P. Gleeson, W. McKenzie, J. Sluckey and Jas W'lton were elected members of the Association, and the meeting closed.
