WdUntrtoa Oonoort Party. The Wellington Concert Party, composed of some of the leading vocalists and instrumentalists of the Empire City, which has just completed a tour of the Hawlte's Bay and Taranaki districts, gave an excellentente'rtoinment in theMaslertpn Theatro Eoyal last evening to an enthusiastic if not crowded audience, The reputation of the members of the party had preceded thorn, and a musical treat was fully expected. B. Williams, the favourite tenor, whose last appearance in Masterton was with the Fisk Jubilee Singers, waa vociferously encored for every item he rendered. The most appreciated of all was perhaps the Bong" Marguerita/'inwhiohheheld the audience fairly spell bound, Mr Pronsß, the well-known baritone, created a favourable impression and was enthusiastically encored for his rendition of that excellent piece, " Life for Evermore." Mr McDivff Boyd appeared to handle the violin with greater skill than ever, and was loudly applauded for his various contributions. ■ • The accompaniments were played in first-class style by Mr Robert Parker, who contributed in no small degree to the evening's pleasure, The entertainment, which was one of the most refined that has ever been produced in Mastertou, was brought to a close with a quartette entitled "Good Night,"
