LAND BOARD.
At a special meeting of the Wellington Land Board yesterday morning Mr A. Dick applied for the title to sections jf ami 2 and part of section 10, blocks!/ and 10, Apiti. Approved. Mr y/.S". Marshall applied to capitalise and obtain the titje to block 14,Tirirakawaij. The Board decided to ask him to prove that all the conditions of the Act had beep complied with. The Board granted a title to Mrs P. M. Budden for section 115, block 14, Mangaone. Mr A. Wikie applied for the title to section 2, block 14, Wairoa. Refused, as the improvements have !?ot been done, TLe Board deferred consideration of an appllC*" tion by Mrs Thompson (nee Brown) for a title to sections 10 and 21, block 5, Omahine.' Mr J.. ! \Vilkie applied for the title to section 6, block 5, Oraahiue. Consideration was deferred po as to enable the Ranger tp report. Mr W. H. Warren appears* jn support of the three latter apphca tioj.s. With reference to the cemetery, section 25, block 16, Maugabao, it was resolved to deal with the land under the Public Reserves Act if there is power to do so.
