Masttr Agnes' tabulated pedigree reads as under : His sire, C" issivcllaunus (who is now dead), only raced twice in England, and that was as a two year old when l.e won both stakes he staited for at Newmarket. In addition to Master Agnes, he has sired in this colony Enyious, Jealousy, Billy, Mobs Rose, Puritan and other good racers. Cassivollaunuß' si. e Caractacus won the Derby at Epsom in 1862, and bis dam Campanile, is a daughter of the emperor of stallions, Stockwell. Fair .igueß, the dam of Master Agnes, is a daughter of the imported bay Middleton horse St Aubyn, and is out of Phcßbe, the maternal ancestress of so many good horses including Pmfire's dm, Queen of tb« South, ParaWhcnua's dam, Countess, Maoa s dam, Raupo; Wolverine's dam, Tangi, and Siuking Fund who ran a dead heat with Mat*, for the Dunedin Cup of 187! l. Phoebe was a daughter of the King of Australian sires, Sir Herculeß. Fair Agnes in addition to Master Agneß, has thrown another good hurdle racpr in Magnesia and a fairish sprinter in St Agnes, Rose A'Boidieur and her sons. Maroro, Chokebore, and BaJsworth, were all above the average ou the Turf. As a two year old Maßter Agnes won the Spring Kursery Handicap at the C.J.C. Metrouolitan Meeting and ha followed this up by getting home in front of a field of five in the Two year old Handicap, but was disqualified on the ground of a cross. At the O.J.C. Autumn Meeting he ran third to Water A'ymph and Sir Belvidere in the Champagne Stakes. Ti'UMS—Single Mares, £5 ss. Groomage Fee, ss. Two or moie Mares as per agreement. It is needless to say ai more as the above named horses were so wi and favorably known in the Wairaiapa, is itself a sufficient guarantee to breeders.
