4 Boy Shoots His Brother and Sister. (By Telegraph.—Press Association,) .'"■ Auckland, [Friday. George Benton, a boy qfjaine years, accidentally shot his brotherand sister yesterday at Mount Roskill. The elder sister was cleaning down for "■—• Christinas, and put an old fowling piece on the verandah that had. nbt been used for the past...four yenea. • George was playing about, and tried to snap a match head with the hammer of the gun. It exploded, and the charge passed through' the stomach of Addison Benton, aged six years, and lodged in the arms of Agnes Benton aged two. The children wttre removed to the Hospital. The boy died during the evening and the girl is still in the Hospital.
