A match with Taueru has been 6xed for Boxing Day, and the following players have been nominated : Messrs Andrews (2), Elder (2), Hackworth, Horner, R. E. MaunseJl, Nicholls, Owen, Bead and Walker, final selections to l? e madepn Saturday evening, when a meeting 1b to be held at the Tenui Hotel to elect officers and receive balance sheet. A friendly match was played on Saturday —Langdale versus Tenui and lea. A scratch raatc)j was played at the i Taueru on Saturday, between teams' picked by 11 essrs Cargjll and Parkin, i son, of Misterton and Maurjceville j respectively, the former being victorious. The match between Mauriceville and the Taueru was not played as teams could not be got together. ,
