THEATRE ROYAL.

Suflro Buffalo Minstrels.

The Hugo Buffalo Minstrels gave their opening entertainment in the Theatre Royal last evening to a good house. The programme consisted of the usual nigger business, in which Mr Charles Hugo took a prominent pirt. The jokes were both original and funny, whilst the singing was good. In the second part the step-dancing of Vincent Magee was highly appreciated, whilst the parodies of Charles Hugo, in his grotesque attire, were very amusing. Miss Rosy Andrew sang in a pleasing manner that school girl refrain, " Whacky, whacky, whack," for which she was enthusiastically eneored. Miss Priscilla Verne and Miss Rosy Andrew were equally successful in their duet, " Which of the two would you like to marry," whilst Miss Verne brought down the house with her song " Waiting to hear the verdict." The programme, which was a highly attractive one, was brought to a close with the laughable farce, " Killed at the finish."

The Minstrels give a second performance this evening, when an entirely new programme will be pressnted.
